School Advisory Council (SAC)

The Tangelo Park Elementary School Advisory Council (SAC) invites parents, teachers, school administrators, school staff, business and community leaders, and other interested community members to attend SAC meetings and work toward a common goal, which is to improve the educational experience for all Tangelo Park Tigers. Use this opportunity to become involved and show your support!

Who is the School Advisory Council?

The School Advisory Council (SAC) is a team of people representing different parts of the community - parents, the principal, teachers, school administrators, school staff, business and community leaders, and other interested community members. A representative balance among SAC members is required so that all groups of the school community have a voice in school improvement.

What is the School Advisory Council?

The SAC serves as an advisory council to the principal. The primary purpose is to assist the principal in developing a school improvement plan and evaluating the results of the plan in order to help students achieve success. In addition, the SAC advises the principal in the preparation of the school’s budget. The efforts of the SAC are always focused on leading our students to success with the support and involvement of families and the community.
