Happy Thanksgiving from the Tangelo Park Staff

Greeting Tiger Family,

Happy Thanksgiving!  School will be closed next week during our Thanksgiving Break beginning Monday, November 19th through Friday, November 23rd, 2018.

Last week, we celebrated our students for their academic achievements, perfect attendance, and social growth accomplishments during the 1st nine weeks.  A special “THANK YOU” to our parents for attending and supporting our grade level Academic Awards Ceremonies.  Parents, we value your support!

On Friday, November 16th, Progress Reports went home with students. Parents, we would like to encourage you to spend time reviewing and discussing your student’s grades.  If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your child’s teacher to arrange a meeting.

We are in the process of creating an Adopt a Classroom Program to help support our teachers and students.  If you would like to volunteer your time, please call our Curriculum Resource Teacher, Mrs. Pagan at 407-354-2630 or send her an email at

Finally, we will like to share with parents that a Thanksgiving Packet went home with students and those students who complete and return their packets and receive a grade of 80% or higher will receive an incentive from Principal Black.  Students can also read their AR- Accelerated Reader library books over the break and should be prepared to take an AR-Accelerated Reader test when we return.  Boys and girls, enjoy your Thanksgiving Break and spend some quality time with your family and friends!
