Tiger Tutoring 2023/2024
Great News! We are proud to announce the various tutoring programs offered at Tangelo Park Elementary School. This additional academic instruction is designed to increase students’ academic achievement in grade level ELA state standards. Sessions are free of charge and will be facilitated by our own dedicated teachers. Transportation is provided free of charge to all students.
Extended Learning Opportunities
After School Tutoring
Grades 2nd thru 5th
Reading, Writing, Math, and Science
3:30 to 5:30 p.m. ( Tuesdays & Thursdays)
Supper snack included
** Parents, all students must be picked up on time each day. We appreciate your support and understanding.

3rd Dismissal from Tutoring Program
Students will be provided intensive instruction in reading with a classroom teacher. They will also be actively engaged in literacy center activities to reinforce the skills taught. Please speak with your child on the importance of listening and following teacher directions to maximize instructional time. Students who cause constant disruptions will be removed from the program. Our goal is to provide children with an opportunity to improve their reading skills and become more successful in the classroom.
